SIMI VALLEY, Calif., Sept. 20, 2016 /PRNewswire/ — Xavient Information Systems, a leading information technology provider to the cable, telecommunications and over-the-top (OTT) industries, announced that it has expanded its relationship with long-time client EchoStar Corporation.

Xavient has provided IT and engineering services to EchoStar since 2003 and over the last year has added development, support and testing platforms across various consumer level applications catering to the OTT industry. Though Xavient’s OTT Lab, the firm tests the performance and functionality of the software in the growing number of platforms and mobile devices that deliver OTT programming to consumers. These devices include Apple TV, Microsoft Xbox One, and Samsung Galaxy Tablet, among others. This includes ensuring that the applications and the interfaces continue to work as devices get updates to operating systems and drivers. Xavient is also involved in automation development and manual testing at the engineering level.
